Spoilers: if you haven't beaten mother 3 then don't read this. (prepare this to be long)

I'm proud that I beat it because I kinda procrastinated the whole time.

The reason I played it.

I was playing brawl one day and looked at Lucas and thought to myself "wow what a wimp" so I asked my brother to find a translated version of it. And when i played it well my first reaction wow Lucas is a wimp second reaction (at the first chapter) first I cried...then my mouth dropped and I cried some more then it just kinda got ridiculous with the cross dressing guys like what they did with Bambi after his mom got shot. Then it's funny sad funny funny funny sad funny and so on I never played the other mother games but now i am interested so I'll ask my brother to find a translated version of mother 1 (though i heard that mother 3 is more depressing then the other ones).

And man I feel bad for making fun of Lucas (this is the spoilers)

I mean for one thing, first chapter "BAM" mother died of a Drago attack (what the translation that I played called it) on the same chapter Lucas twin brother Claus (in a blind rage) goes after the Drago and disappears making one think that the Drago has killed him. Two years later you know that the bad guy is a bad guy and no one will listen to you (though Lucas doesn't speak...at all except once.) You then are thrown into a destiny where you need to save the world by pulling nettles of a dark dragon, Lucas...the wimp...yea we're screwed. Then later on you learn that your brother is working for said evil empire and doesn't remember Lucas. Claus is the last boss and when he finally remembers Lucas he KILLS himself yea let me repeat that KILLS himself yea by throwing a lightning bolt at Lucas (in which he has the Franklin badge on ((reflects lightning attacks))) and then hits him gaves ya a hug then dies. You wonder why hes demented and sad and feels useless yea almost his entire family died... oh yea and almost though the entire game your father is gone looking for Claus in the forest that they live at! wouldn't you think that Claus would be gone from there by now. Also (last thing i promise) everyone wants Lucas dead, I mean it! Even Luca's mom tantalizes him and makes him run after her though a field of flowers and he jumps off a cliff to follow her. Wow....that's just bad.

All and all i liked this game it was funny but then it got just plain sad but i do recommended it though. And I don't ever want make fun of Lucas again but it's just so bad how wimpy he is including at the end boss when he refuses to attack Claus for a while (don't worry he'll let you eventually) reminds me of Metal Gear Solid when you were aiming at Rex and the Ninja was in the way Snake said "No! I can't do it!" so i just said that while I guarded and attacked.
